Switchback Books Advisory Board member Joan Larkin reads versions of three poems by Anna Akhmatova, set by composer Paul Oehlers. This will be the premiere performance of Oehlers' piece.
The Maverick Ensemble will also perform work by composers Elliott Carter, William Jason Raynovich, Stephen Stucky, and Heitor Villa-Lobos. [more information]
