Marisa Crawford & Lizzy Acker
Lizzy Acker grew up in Oregon but she now lives in San Francisco where she collects bacon grease for hypothetical soap making projects, surfs, makes books and blogs at lizzyacker.com. She is the former co-curator of the Funny/Sexy/Sad reading series and she received her MFA from San Francisco State University. Her first book, Monster Party, a collection of stories about boys, aliens and violence, is forthcoming from Small Desk Press in 2010. Marisa Crawford is the author of The Haunted House from the feminist poetry press Switchback Books. She grew up on the East Coast, received an MFA in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University, and recently moved to Brooklyn after five years in San Francisco. She is an editor at Small Desk Press, and her writing has recently appeared in Shampoo and Action, Yes, and on the fashion blog Ironing Board Collective.
