Taste of Switchback: Beer Reveal

We know it's on everyone's mind. So, I've purchased a ticket, or, I am about to purchase a ticket, but wait . . . what beer comes with the purchase of a ticket? What will be poured into my souvenir glass? What will I drink while I listen to poetry? For those of you who are just a tad bit curious as to what beer your ticket purchases, here's one of the beers we've taken care to expertly pair with a Switchback author's poem---Saugatuck Brewing Company's ESB Amber. Saugatuck's ESB Amber won the 2012 World Expo of Beer Best in Show Award. It's a British style Extra Special Bitter with an even balance of malt and hops, medium bodied with bready and caramel malt notes and UK hops.

What poem pairs well with British Style, with an even balance of malt and hops? What poem feels medium bodied? What poem is bready and caramel malt notes?

We are delighted to share our pairings with you this Friday night, and we want to know, if you're familiar with Switchback's books, what poem might you pair with Saugatuck's ESB Amber?

Join us tomorrow, Friday, October 4th at 7:30 PM for Taste of Switchback: A Poetry and Beer Pairing Event, and see what we've come up with!
